COLONEL H.H. GREER (Unnamed) C.B. (Companion of the Bath) awarded 3.11.1864 Gold maltese cross of eight point, enamelled white. Each point tipped with gold ball and in each angle a gold lion. Centre - device of rose/thistle/shamrock issuing from sceptre and three Imperial crowns, Device surrounded by red enamel circle with motto " Tria juncta in uno" in gold. Around red circle is green enamel branches of laurel. Below blue enamel scroll eith "Ich Dien" in gold. 1815 issue with buckle and crimson ribbon.

Inscribed on rim: "Col H.H.Grier C.B. 68th Light Infantry" Medal not authorised until 1869
