Benjamin Robert Whittaker

Born in Jamaica in 1827, he was commissioned in 1843 in the 2 Bombay European Regiment as an Ensign. He served in Persia, as a Captain, and fought at Reshire, Bushire and Kooshab. He retired in 1873 as a Colonel. Benjamin Whittaker died on Jersey in 1899.
