Biography

Born in Nottingham, he joined the 68 Regiment from the Nottingham Militia in May 1812. He fought at Vittoria, Pyrenees, Nivelle and Orthes during the Peninsular War. William Naylor was invalided home from Canada in 1819 and discharged from the 68 Regiment in October 1820.
