Edward McCormack

In 1881, he enlisted as a Private in 2 Royal Scots but transferred to 2 DLI in January 1882. He served in Egypt with the Mounted Infantry under Lieutenant de Lisle. He returned to England in 1886 and, after a brief time with 1 DLI, took his discharge in 1887 and joined the Army Reserve.
