William Leith

Born in Suffolk, he was a labourer before he enlisted in the 68 Regiment in October 1811. He joined his Regiment in the Peninsula and lost his right arm at the battle of Vittoria on 21 June 1813. William Leith was discharged from the 68 Regiment as "unfit for further service" in February 1815, aged 23 years.
