Alexander Hebron

He was commissioned in 9 DLI before the Great War and went with the battalion, as a Captain, to Belgium in 1915. He was awarded the Military Cross for his bravery during the Second Battle of Ypres, April-May 1915. In June 1916, he was sent home ill and did not return to 9 DLI, moving instead to the Labour Corps.
