John Derek Clive Hall

Born in London in 1939, he was commissioned in The King's Shropshire Light Infantry, after National Service in the Grenadier Guards, and later joined the 1st Battalion DLI. He fought with 1 DLI in Borneo in 1966 and then became Adjutant of 6 DLI at Bishop Auckland - the last before the battalion was disbanded in 1967. John Hall also served with The Light Infantry before he retired as a Major in 1978.
