William Guinn

Born in Tralee, Ireland, he was a labourer before joining the 84 Foot in 1852, aged 18 years. He fought at Lucknow during the Indian Mutiny. He transferred to the 68 LI in 1859 and fought in the New Zealand War. William Guinn was discharged with chronic rheumatism in 1872 and retired to Manchester.
