Biography

Little is as, yet known, about Corporal Fitzgerald other that he was awarded the Delhi Durbar Medal in 1911 - one of 104 men of the 1st Battalion DLI to receive this medal. This medal commemorates the proclamation of King George V as Emperor of India at Delhi in December 1911. 1 DLI took part in this event.
