James Dickey

Born in Clogher, Ireland, he was a labourer before he joined the 68 LI in August 1855, aged 20 years. He served for 21 years, as a Private, and fought in New Zealand. He was awarded the Long Service & Good Conduct Medal. James Dickey took his discharge in 1876 and returned home to Ireland.
