Norman Sawyer

From Annfield Plain, he served in the 9th Battalion DLI during the Second World War. He was killed in action on 26 May 1940 near Provin during the retreat to Dunkirk. He was 21 years old. Norman Sawyer is buried in Lille Southern Cemetery in France.
