John F Atkinson

Unfortunately little is known about this soldier other than that came from Sacriston and served in the DLI during the Great War as a Company Sergeant Major. After the war he was presented with the silver Sacriston Medal for his service. On the reverse of this medal is "The People of Sacriston Thank You".
