R Faid

Sergeant R Faid was a Volunteer with the 5th Volunteer Battalion DLI based at Gateshead. During the Boer War, he served from April 1900 to April 1901as a Private in South Africa with the 1st Volunteer Service Company attached to the 1st Battalion DLI.
