Robert H Christison

Born in Harrogate, he served as a Regular soldier with the 2nd Battalion DLI during the Great War. In March 1919, then aged 31 years, he re-enlisted as a Regular and continued to serve until he was finally discharged in February 1942.

According to his Army Book 358 entry, Robert Christison was an engine fitter in Scarborough. His sister, Elizabeth Christison, lived at 19 Portland Place, Carlisle. He died on 5 February 1947.
