Thomas Venn

Thomas Venn was born in Willington near Crook in County Durham and joined the 6th Battalion DLI as a Territorial soldier before the war. Sergeant Thomas Venn was killed in action on 26 April 1915 during the 2nd Battle of Ypres. He was 40 years old. Thomas Venn has no known grave but his name is recorded on the Menin Gate at Ypres.
