Samuel Small

Born in Willington, County Durham, Samuel Small served with the 15th (Service) Battalion DLI during the Great War. He was killed in action on 26 September 1916 at the Battle of Loos and has no known grave. The medals of his brother, Addison Small, are also in the Medal Room.
