Shako, 68 Light Infantry

Officer's Shako, 68th Light Infantry, 1869-1878. This officer's Full Dress shako (hat) is made from cork covered with dark green cloth and gold braid. The peak is made from black patent leather. This shako belonged to Lieutenant Colonel Harpur Green, who commanded the 68th Light Infantry during the New Zealand War. Acc No: 676
