Biography

From Framwellgate Moor, Durham, he originally enlisted in the Tyneside Scottish in early 1915 and later served with the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. In October 1917, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and joined the 28th (Home Service) Battalion DLI at Frinton in Essex. Thomas Hughff died in 1971.
